Dear Craig Family,
I cannot believe that we are on the cusp of Ryan’s Senior year!
We are in the midst of college visits and preparations for the application process for both Ryan and his twin sister. It is all very exciting, and all made possible by the great foundation that he has received from craig since starting in the 7th grade. Ryan may not agree with my view, but I am very excited for the year to come and all of the possibilities that it will bring.
It is always a dynamic time of year for Craig. Another Golf outing is in the books (great day!), the Summer program has wrapped up, preparations are starting for the coming year, both from a faculty standpoint, as well as with the board laying out the meeting schedule for the year looking at what we want to accomplish, and we are getting ready to kick start all the plans that we finalized as we wrapped up the prior year. While less visible to the Craig community as a whole, the coming year brings additional excitement as the NJAIS (New Jersey Association of Independent Schools) conducts our regular Self Study assessment. when I first heard it, I thought it would be very much an administrative exercise, but it has been an amazing process for me to see. It has been a great way to reflect on what we do and our processes, and how we can continue to improve going forward.
And, of course, the new school year will bring the opening of the renovated gym, and the preparations for classroom renovations. It has been fun to watch the progress over the summer, and get a glimpse of the benefits that will continue to come as we take advantage of being owners of our campus. Enjoy the rest of summer, and I hope to see many of you as the school year starts. As always, I welcome your feedback. I look forward to another great year at Craig!
