NEW TO THE CRAIG SCHOOL- Need to submit Summer Application and Academic Information Forms ( 1 Language Arts, I Math). Upon Acceptance, we will request Registration Form and Payment in Full.

Guest Speaker for the Ladies Leadership League

The Ladies Leadership League of Craig High School was treated to a special workshop that featured a visit by Ms. Miho Kanazawa.  Ms. Kanazawa is an improvisational actress, child life specialist, drama therapist, and baby massage therapist. 

She shared with the young ladies of Craig High how her various passions and specialties evolved into specific career choices.  A common thread running through her choices was to help children and guide adults in being able to express their inner feelings via acting and non-verbal communication.  Her varied topics included:

  • The many facets of improvisational acting
  • The purpose of baby massage and its many benefits
  • Communication with both young children and adults

Ms. Kanazawa then had students take part in a variety of improv activities.  In the Fall, Ms. Kanazawa will be returning to CHS with her acting troupe, The Big Apple Playback Theatre, who will be putting on a performance for the entire high school.  Ms. Kanazawa’s visit and the Fall performance were made possible by a grant given by the Kronenberg family (daughter, Lexi of the CHS class of 2014).
