Beacon College
Hello parents!
I am looking to gage your student’s interest in an overnight college visit/ field trip. A few of our Craig School alumni have gone to Beacon College in Florida (some are still there!). Beacon has agreed to create a specialized and personalized school visit for us on Thursday, February 6th.
We would fly down on Wednesday, February 5th, tour the campus on the 6th, hit a theme park in Orlando on the 7th, and return on the 8th. All school absences would be excused (they would only miss 2 days since we would fly out later on Wednesday afternoon).
The entire trip would cost  $600 per student (transportation, airfare, hotel, food, theme park). We are opening this opportunity to students in 10th and 11th grades. Seniors are also welcome to join us, although their college choices are pretty well set right now!
I will accompany the group, and if we have more than 3 students, we will have another adult as well.
Please respond directly to me if this is something you would like to consider for your child. We need to know by next Friday, January 17th so that we can make arrangements. Once I know who is interested, I will arrange a Zoom meeting where we can address your questions and finalize details!
If this trip is not something your family is interested in, have no fear! We will also be running some college visits to local campuses in the Spring!
