Wednesday, February 19th-When we return from our long weekend our peer leaders have organized a spirit day to celebrate the 100th day of school. Part of the celebration is to dress up like a 100 year old! Teachers will be doing lots of different activities in their classes to commemorate the 100th day and to build their number sense of what 100 is and looks like. Can you volley 100 times in gym? How many ways can you make $100? Can you list 100 things you’ve learned this year? What happened 100 years ago? Can you make an art project with 100 different colors? Peer leaders have supplied the teachers with a list of ideas and encouraged them to come up with their own. It should be a very spirited day for sure!

SKI/SNOWBOARD EVENING
We have coordinated to ski/snowboard after school (4:00 PM start- ends 9:00 PM) on Friday, February 28th and Friday, March 7th. Helmets are a must for all skiers and snowboarders. This is a Craig community event open to all students, family members, staff, and friends of The Craig School. Literary Magazine Submissions: As the weather turns colder many of us naturally spend more time indoors. Why not take this opportunity to encourage your child to show off their literary and artistic talents and growth? We are looking for all types of submissions from poems, short stories, and drawings, to pictures of models, and more. Please see the flier for other ideas and details. The deadline for entries is fast approaching; Mrs. Miller needs all submissions by the end of March.
