THE CRAIG SCHOOL

WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
Message from the Head Of School
NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR

The Craig High Chapter of the National Honor Society will be partnering with our local food pantry for our annual “Souper Bowl” Soup Can drive leading into this year's Super Bowl.  Each can that is donated will go into a specially marked box designating our two Super Bowl contenders, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.  Thanks to the Chiefs, we will even have a “Taylor Swift ” box for those who might be neutral about the outcome.  Each can in the Ta-Ta box will predict the number of times we get to see her on TV during the game.  Students will decide which box/team gets the cans.

We will start collecting cans this Monday, February 3rd through next Friday, February 7th, and use our can totals to pick our Super Bowl winner and predict the final score.  And yes, we will be accepting more than just soup.  Soup just worked better in the drive title!  All canned donations will be going to the Montville Food Pantry.

Speaking of the Super Bowl, last week our students had the opportunity to see an actual Super Bowl ring as our Josten Ring rep for the past 20 years, Dennis brought a couple of them with him for our HS Ring design presentation.

Josten has been the official provider of Super Bowl rings since 1960.  A reminder on how to design a one-of-a-kind high school ring is also in this week's CHIL.

Also, we are excited to share this week that our Craig Friday Twilight skiing is back as well as our Director of College Counseling, Dr. Skerker!  Welcome to February,

Dr. Cap
