CHS Freshman Build the LD Wall of Fame:  The LD Wall of Fame is an annual project done in the Self & Group Dynamic class.  Focusing on famous individuals who have become successful in one of their passions/strengths despite their learning disabilities, our teens are reminded of how important it is to follow their passions in life.  

CHS 12th Grade Intro to Business Course-Special Guest Speaker: This past week, we had a special guest speaker in our 12th-grade Introduction to Business Course.  Our guest was special on a couple of different levels. One, she is a small local business owner who started her business from the ground up.  Second, she is the mom of our very own Mr. Norton!  

Mrs. Norton shared with our students how she has grown her business over the course of the past 26 years from a handful of employees to over 50 today.  She talked about the challenges of running your own business and the high levels of organization it requires.  But on the plus, she shared that she has control over her own schedule which was super important when raising her four children.  A big thank you to Mrs. Norton for taking the time and sharing her entrepreneurial spirit with our students. 

Our 12th graders were greeted with loud cheers and personalized signs upon their return from their senior trip to Hershey Park. Our 10th graders took point and brought all of the students together to create this amazing surprise "Welcome Back" event.
