To reduce repetition and keep our parents/families informed, we will be changing our newsletter formats to only go out monthly with the calendar listing info and individual events with details and sign-ups. ( I will do flyers for each event that can also be printed and put into backpacks). These will be sent the last week of each month for the next month through email with push notifications sent through the app with reminders.

Our Buddy Program has gotten off to a great start as the buddies have been taking time to get to know each other each Tuesday afternoon through different activities. They have developed their own handshake to greet each other around campus, played a getting to know you game, and teamed up on a school-wide scavenger hunt. In a few more weeks the buddies will begin reading together as part of their monthly activities.
