COMMUNITY NEWS

Craig High Celebrated National Library Week: Our 9th and 10th graders enjoyed a trip off-campus to the Montville Township Public Library a few weeks back.  They celebrated National Library Week with a VIP tour and learned all about the online research catalog, where library patrons can borrow books, movies, music, and all sorts of items from the “Library of Things” - a brand new initiative! The “Library of Things” features all sorts of objects to borrow such as musical instruments, kitchen gadgets (like a bread maker and an ice cream machine), gardening tools, puzzles, games, and even Roku!

Each student then received their own library card, which can be used throughout the New Jersey MAIN library system.  The Main Library Alliance is a network of over 50 public libraries in Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Union, and Warren Counties.  They then put their library card to good use and each chose an item to borrow for the month.
