COMMUNITY NEWS

Craig School Family Directory: One of the challenges that we all encounter is finding opportunities for our students and parents to connect outside school.  That is why we have put together the “Craig School Family Directory”.  This will allows parents to connect with other parents so if you haven’t already, please fill out our Craig School Family Directory Form

PACS Membership Drive: We are getting close to that 100% CHS Family Membership mark for our Parent Association for the Craig School.  PACS is the key driving forces behind so many amazing school events from our Drive-In to our Halloween Bash and they need your support to pull this off. Click here for PACS Membership forms.

Exploring Ecuador-Craig School April Break Spring Break Trip: Through a partnership with Gogi Abroad, the Craig School has the opportunity to be a part of a Service Learning, Indigenous Wisdom, and Leadership adventure in Ecuador.  It is open to Craig Students in grades 7-12.  There will be a Google Meet Info session on Tuesday, October 29th at 7 PM (Google Meet Link meet.google.com/mnc-qcoh-jqg) where you can hear more about this opportunity and ask any questions you might have.  In the meantime, you can read about Gogi and specifics on the Ecuador Trip at https://gogiabroad.com/craig-school-2024

NOTES FROM DIRECTOR

It was so nice to see so many of you at last night’s Back to School Night. Thank you to our faculty and staff for making such an informative night! If you were unable to make it for some reason, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher and they will help you with getting any hand-outs or information you need from your child’s teachers.

A few things mentioned last night and in this newsletter to bring to your attention:

  • Please help us with lunchtime at school by sending in food that does not need to be heated up.
  • Please fill out the Directory Form on our website’s Back to School Forms page so we can finalize it and get it sent out. I have had many requests for contact information but do not want to share it without your permission.
  • Please read through the PACS Membership Form, the dues for PACS fund many of the fun extras throughout the year. This can also be found on the Back to School Forms page.
  • Look for a sign-up for After School Activities in your inbox soon. This is in response to our parent survey at the end of the year. We hope to build on it as the year unfolds.

Enjoy the three day weekend!
