Orton Gillingham Specialist
Our faculty's unwavering commitment to student success is the key to Craig School's success. Every member of our team holds specialized degrees and certifications designed to meet the varied needs of our complex learners.
Craig School faculty hold specialized degrees and certifications specifically selected to address the varied and complex needs of students with performance-based learning differences. They are not generalists — they are specialists.
We use research-based assessment strategies to carefully identify skill gaps in every student. Understanding precisely where a student is — not where we expect them to be — is the essential first step in building a path forward.
Once gaps are identified, we address them innovatively. Our instruction is designed to meet students where they are and move them forward — through creative, evidence-backed methods that simply work for our learners.
We work closely with parents to ensure students have ample opportunities to practice the skills and strategies they acquire at school while they are at home. Consistency between school and home accelerates progress.
